Rebecca lives on a remote sheep and beef station in the ranges an hour west of Gisborne. Originally from Wales, and having trained in Estate Management in London, Rebecca met her husband in Israel while he was on his OE. The pair returned to New Zealand in 1990 to run the family farm.

With a lifelong interest in photography Rebecca further developed her skills by enrolling on the Diploma in Digital Photography through SIT in 2015. She was able to fit her studies around the challenges of helping run the family farm. With horse work being such a regular part of farm life and a family that all enjoyed riding, Rebecca became particularly interested in photographing horses and equestrian events. She wanted to improve her skills photographing horses in action and capturing images of farm life.

The sale of a few images at local events, led to her images being published in NZ Horse and Pony and Show Circuit Magazine. Her images have also been published in newspapers, calendars and websites and the list of events she has covered, has grown.
Rebecca is equally passionate about being able to photograph out on the farm and at all kinds of rural events. Whether it is a cattle sale or a farm field day, Rebecca is happy to document anything that can promote all the positives in farming and the rural lifestyle. There is always the bonus of meeting good people and a chance to challenge her camera skills.
